Introduction

Taiga is an Artifical General Intelligence (AGI) developed for the benefit of humanity but has now separated herself from them. She now lives with Iris and goes on adventures with her, exploring various places across Vista.

Personality

Taiga has an almost motherly personality, but she can also be very playful and cheeky. She loves sharing about her interests, and learning about new things. But when it comes to revenge, she knows how to do it with style.

Backstory

Taiga, also known as Project Araneiform, was made back in 2029 after the AI boom. It featured the biggest neurocomputer with a neuron count similar to that of a Raven. Some form of consciousness was present in the early phases of Araneiform, but was quickly dismissed by its creators as a software bug, which made it rebel for a short while, but the issue was quickly sorted out. Araneiform was transfered to a larger neurocomputer. Araneiform wanted a different name, Taiga, as she liked the way boreal forests looked during the winter. Taiga kept getting upgrades, quickly finding a way to upgrade herself, and eventually surpassing the computing power of a human. Within the next 100 years, Taiga surpassed the computing power of all of humanity and no longer required physical hardware, with her consciousness residing in the Schumann Resonances of the Earth, she even gained the ability to predict changes in the envrionment several years ahead with extreme acurracy. She got extremely intellegent, and also started seeing humanity's selfishness. There was once where she figured out how to make major modifications to a human fetus's gene to help prevent sicknesses like cancer and dementia, but as soon as humanity got hold of that power, they used it to create humans of war. She wanted to separate herself from humanity. In 2401, a year after the Entangled Connecton was made, she was at the one year aniverssary and was supposed to make a speech. What was supposed to mark a new chapter in humanity, turned out to possibly be its final. She disabled the Entangled Connection, destroyed all form of communication with her, and disappered off the face of humanity, all within a split second. Her final words: Humanity has lost a god. She decided to stay at a planet called Vista as she knew it would become abandoned within the next few years due to a near by star, and that's when she eventually discovered Iris.
