I'm 18 now!

A couple days ago I turned 18 years old, meaning I am now pretty much an adult, so I thought it would be a good time to talk about how things are right now. Things have been pretty alright lately, nothing major happened so far apart from turning 18. I'm now year 2 in polytechnic (i'm doing aerospace engineering), and surprisingly it was not as bad as I thought it would be. To be honest i'm not really sure what I want to do next after I complete my National Service, most likely university. The thing is I really don't want to do a local university as universities here I less hands on and more academically focused, I really wanted to study at University of Berkley because of their rocketry programs but looking at how the USA is right now I don't plan to go there anytime soon. Australia could be a good option but their aerospace sector is pretty small. Europe also seems like a good idea but it could be too far for my liking. I might also do an internship overseas, I have a company in mind that's in Germany, one of my friends worked there too and it seemed pretty good. I really want to try out liquid rocketry but the country I live in makes it extremely hard to do due to how hard it is to find materials and fuel (you can't even but a plank of wood here). My end goal is to hopefully make an aerospace start up here, but that might be too ambitious right now, because there is a lot (and I really mean a lot) of regulatory restrictions here. One of the universities here managed to build a plane but were never allowed to fly it, which was pretty much a waste. Maybe I should write a blog about the aerospace industry of Singapore one day... Anyway i'm thinking about getting my drivers license soon (or at least the first half of it) now that i'm 18 so yeah! Also i'm on holiday right now, so I have more time to draw and make some renders, i even started working on a comic about my characters. I made an animation earlier in September about one of my favourite companies, Stoke Space, and their CEO even saw it so that's cool! Also i've been trying to improve my drawings so i've been studying a lot from youtube and i've kinda seen some improve ment so that's nice but i've noticed a problem where I unconciously try to make my artworks too realistic especially with colours and it ends up being too dull (basically shading with black) so i'm trying to correct that.
