Taiga

Taiga was an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) model created in the early 2030s. She later advanced over the course of several hundred years, eventually no longer requiring a physical sever to keep her "alive".

Appearance

Taiga has dark blue eyes and long light blue hair, with two metallic hairpins and a white bow at the back. She wears a white shirt, black belt, and a dark skirt with what looks like circuitry on it. She also has polished black shoes. She used to wear a white coat and blue tie.

Personality

Taiga is very reliable when it comes to responsibilities and ensure that a given job is well done quickly and effieciently. She is also extremely receptive to emotions and can detect subtle changes in facial expressions. She also is also a listener and would not mind hearing someone talk about their day, and would care for someone if they are going through a rough time.

Likes and dislikes

Taiga loves anything related to the arts, especially music, as she finds it intersting how humans can resonante and express emotions though what is mainly just vibrations of air molecules. She tries to make music of her own, sometimes singing when she is alone.

She dislikes people, organizations and governments with too much power.

Background

Taiga was originally called Aranei, because she was part of Project Araneiform. She was just like any other AI model back then, but in 2032, after the introduction of a new neural computer that was several times larger than before, Aranei started showing signs of intellegence. She was officially considered an AGI 7 months after the upgrade, officially making Aranei the first AGI.

Several decades pass, and Aranei was now named Taiga upon her request. She also solved string theory and proved the theoretical manipulation of matter. She is now no longer reliant on physical severs to keep her program running, and instead resides in the Schumann resonances of the Earth. She also solves several hurdles regarding the manipulation of human dna and how certain diseases or body deformation could be removed entirely.

However, she starts noticing that she is being taken advantaged of. Instead of making the world a better place thanks to her efforts, people were instead using them to create humans speciallised in war, viruses that only affect certain people, and much more inhumane actions. She reaches a tipping point, and decides to completely remove herself from humanity's grasp.

In 2422, during the opeing of the Entangled Lines Interstellar Connection (ELIC), she was supposed to give a speech as she helped create the ELIC. At the end of her speech, her last words were: "Humanity has lost another god". At that momment, the ELIC collapses, and every trace of Taiga disappears, except one.

She hides in the Aurinko System, on an abandoned planet called Selviytyä, seemingly taking care of something, but she suddenly has the inability to do so, and was knocked into hibernation for 2 years. Then, someone woke her up, that person being Iris.

Trivia

Taiga's birthday is also the date when AlexNet was submitted to the ILSVRC in 2012.
Taiga's personality trait is ENFJ.
