Iris

Iris is a 19 year old girl residing on the planet Selviytyä in the Aurinko System. She was supposed to be part of the Night Angel Special Response Team (NASRT or NAT), but was later left abandoned in her incubation chamber due to the Fallen Star Incident.

Appearance

Iris has dull violet eyes and dark hair with a white-with-yellow-center flower on it. She wears a dark jacket with a beige fur hood (which she found in the lab), with a grayish-blue sweater underneath. She also has dark gray tights and boots. She carries an APR-308 sniper around too. There is a blue arm band on her right arm, signifying her (supposed) connection to the NAT, though she rarely wears it anymore. Iris has other outfits, but she likes wearing this as she feels most comfortable in it.

Personality

Iris is very reserved person and can be somewhat disconnected with the world, lost in thoughts. She is also very curious and analyse situations and surroudings with great detail, but she tends to start overthinking things very quickly.

Likes and dislikes

Iris loves stargazing during the long nights, she especially loves it when the auroras are visible. She is also a "chionophile", meaning she loves cold weather. She occasionally sleep in the snow too. Iris also developed a love for photography after finding an old camera.

Iris dislikes the day as she feels it gets too warm and bright.

Background

Iris was first created in 2407 in one of the labs at NAT. She was moved to her incubation chamber a few months later to continue her growth in her dormant state. She was supposed to be released to duty when she reached 20, but was left abandoned indefinitely in her chamber when she was 15 due to Fallen Star Incident which resulted in a full evacuation of the planet. She was left to the automated systems within the lab to keep her alive, but was released in 2424 due to a cosmic ray flipping a bit within the automated systems, causing the emergency release protocol. She was 17 when this happened.

After being released, she stayed within the confines of the labs for a few weeks, but knew she had to leave if she wanted to find food. Days and nights go by as she tries to find people, but to no avail. Two years go by and by this point she stars developing depression and anxiety, and was on the verge of ending it. She stublems upon a computer sever in a building and accidently turns it on, that's when she found Taiga, who became her forever companion.
